We are sad to announce that Dr. Marshall Berger passed away on September, 21st, 2022. Rest in peace friend. Dr. Marshall Berger Is originally from Chicago, Illinois. I graduated Dental School from The University of Illinois. I practiced general dentistry in Hollywood, FL for over 25 years. I then sold my high-quality practice and was asked to be part of the planning stages for the development of Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry in the mid-nineties. I was part of the original group that helped to plan and develop Nova's dental school from the beginning. We were the first dental school to be formed in 23 years. We did a great job getting our accreditation and just got better each year as we progressed from that first-year class. I was a full-time associate professor with many responsibilities. That was a very rewarding time of my life with many fond memories and friendships. I still keep in touch with many of my former students. I have enjoyed watching their progress in life as well as in their dental practices. I left Nova in 2005 to join Kenny Jones at Doctor's Choice Companies and have been with the company longer than anybody except for Kenny. I have been involved in brokering the purchases and sales of dental practices since 2005 and it still gives me great pleasure in helping dentists evaluate and sell or purchase a dental practice that fits their individual goals. My mission is to assist new buyers to succeed in any way that I can. I am there to help them for several years after their purchase. I still lecture to the graduating seniors on what to expect in their first year out of school. I help to break down the negative myths about starting their careers in this day and age. The opportunities in the state of Florida are awesome. Florida is now the third most populated state in the U.S. and South Florida is the ONLY SUN BELT STATE east of the Mississippi. HOW GOOD IS THAT !!!! I also do office reviews for Delta Care Insurance company. As a result of the different things that I do I am in around 120 to 150 dental offices per year. My territory is from the Keys up to Jupiter. I am in more dental offices than any other dentist in the state of Florida. With that amount of exposure, I am able to see what seems to work best in this ever-changing environment in the business of today's dentistry. Today's type of internet marketing seems to be a very key component to early success. I try to be as current as possible in the field of marketing.
